Membership terms

Free for homeowners

Requesting services, choosing a match, and chatting with your matched pro are free. You hire and pay service providers directly. TaskNeighbor does not collect a percentage of service payments.

Pro plans

Free includes 3 new-request responses per calendar month. Plus costs $2 USD/month with 10 responses and 1 saved search. Premium costs $4 USD/month with unlimited responses and 5 saved searches. Tax is included where applicable. Paid plans renew monthly until renewal is canceled. There is no free trial or automatic paid enrollment.

A response means accepting an Instant Match or sending an offer on a distinct request. Offers count even if not selected. Allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month and do not roll over. Canceled or deleted requests do not restore used responses. Plan changes do not reset usage. Existing responses from before membership limits launched are excluded.

Changing or canceling

Open Plans & billing → Manage billing to update payment details, change plans, view invoices, or cancel renewal. Upgrades may involve a prorated charge shown before confirmation. Downgrades and cancellation take effect at the end of the paid period. You retain access to existing conversations, matches, and reviews when you return to Free. Saved searches above your new plan’s allowance are kept but unavailable until you have enough access or remove extras.

Payments and support

Stripe processes TaskNeighbor membership payments. Your service provider does not need to connect a Stripe account to TaskNeighbor. A failed renewal does not extend paid access. Paid access is confirmed from billing records, not merely by returning from checkout.

For duplicate or mistaken membership charges, or a refund request, contact TaskNeighbor. Refund requests are reviewed individually; canceling renewal does not automatically refund an earlier payment. This does not limit rights that apply under law.

Fair access and future prices

Membership buys access to opportunities, not guaranteed jobs, earnings, verification approval, or preferential reviews. Use your own business account and respond only to work you are qualified to perform. Spam and abusive activity remain subject to moderation on every plan.

These are launch prices. Future price changes will be communicated clearly in advance. Existing subscriptions will not be silently switched to a higher price. New prices require a separate change to the published offer and billing configuration.
